Activation Aide

Position: Sienna Senior Living Activation Aide
Become a key player in enhancing residents’ lives as an Activation Aide at Sienna Senior Living in Toronto. This part time role emphasizes community engagement and tailored recreational programs to foster happiness.

At Sienna, you’ll contribute to developing programs that resonate with seniors’ interests, creating joy and fulfillment in their everyday lives.

Your role is centered on nurturing relationships and building a community that emphasizes respect and belonging. Each interaction allows you to enrich lives, create lasting memories, and ensure residents are engaged and supported.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement personalized recreational programs

• Facilitate engaging activities and events

• Observe and assess individual resident needs

• Record participation and feedback for program enhancements

• Welcome new residents and help them integrate socially

Requirements:

• Degree/diploma in recreation, therapeutic recreation, or similar

• Experience working with the elderly and understanding their needs

• Familiarity with leisure activity principles

• Legally authorized to work in Canada

• Must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
