This position focuses on delivering culturally sensitive employment services, helping clients navigate their job search. You will develop and implement training sessions, assist with resume critiques, and facilitate internships while collaborating with various community partners.
Your role is essential in ensuring clients transition smoothly into the workforce and maintain positive work relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide intake and assessment for clients
• Design and evaluate engaging group training sessions
• Critique resumes and cover letters effectively
• Schedule job fairs and networking events
• Develop partnerships with referral sources
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in career counseling or related fields
• Minimum of 2 years in job development or equivalent
• Excellent interpersonal and self-management skills
• Experience with marginalized communities is a plus
• Knowledge of virtual facilitation tools like Zoom
