Child and Youth Worker

Become a Child and Youth Worker with Geneva Centre for Autism in Toronto, ON. We are looking for motivated individuals with interpersonal skills to support children and youth with special needs.

This part-time, term or contract role offers a flexible work schedule including day, evening, and weekend shifts. You will engage in administrative tasks, provide care and support to clients, and develop behavior management programs. The position requires strong reporting skills and the capacity to assess client needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather information and write reports for case studies

• Assess client strengths and development needs

• Resolve conflict situations with effective strategies

• Implement behavior management programs accurately

• Keep program statistics for evaluation and research

Requirements:

• Fluent in English with strong communication skills

• 1-2 year College diploma or certificate required

• 7 months to 1 year experience in related industry

• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention and CPR certifications needed

• Capable of handling weight up to 20 lbs
