Community-Based Psychologist in Ontario

Join a fulfilling role as a psychologist, registered and in good standing with the Ontario College. You will help clients manage cognitive and emotional disorders while working in the community.

This role emphasizes the importance of critical thinking and decision-making as you assess and diagnose behaviors. Your work will focus on counseling individuals to enhance personal and vocational development. You will operate in a flexible environment, efficiently managing time and organizational skills while communicating findings clearly through verbal and written reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose behavioral and cognitive disorders

• Manage clients' physical and mental health challenges

• Counsel clients to improve societal and vocational adjustment

• Prepare accurate client documentation after visits

• Organize flexible working hours to suit community needs

Requirements:

• Registered with the Ontario College of Psychologists

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

• Experience with the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule

• Ability to conduct psychological assessments

• Specialization in traumatic brain or spinal cord injuries preferred
