Overview:

The Clinical Supervisor, Case Management Services is responsible for the coordination, oversight, and clinical leadership of case managers who provide support to youth across community based programs, transitional housing, and shelter settings. The successful candidate will oversee day to day service delivery, ensure high quality case management practices, and maintain strong alignment with agency standards, professional expectations, and youth centered approaches.

This role includes administrative supervision, performance management, and clinical supervision for staff who provide case management and counselling services, as needed, in accordance with the OCSWSSW Practice Guidelines for Performing the Controlled Act of Psychotherapy and a range of evidence-informed therapeutic approaches. The Clinical Supervisor plays a key role in quality assurance, documentation integrity, and continuous improvement of case management services.

We are currently recruiting for 1 Full-time, Permanent Clinical Supervisor, Case Management Services. This is a new position within the organization.

Responsibilities:
Supervision and Leadership
  • Supervise a team of case managers, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, performance appraisals, and regular administrative supervision.
  • Provide ongoing clinical supervision to regulated social work case managers who deliver case management, counselling services as needed, and therapeutic interventions using a range of modalities, ensuring high-quality, youth-centered, and ethically grounded practice.
  • Foster a supportive, collaborative, and accountable team environment grounded in trauma informed, anti oppressive, and harm reduction principles.
Program Oversight and Service Delivery
  • Oversee the coordination and delivery of case management supports across community programs, transitional housing, and shelter services.
  • Ensure youth receive clinically sound, developmentally appropriate, and culturally safe services aligned with agency policies and professional standards.
  • Support staff in applying theories such as family systems, adolescent development, attachment, and motivational interviewing in their case management practice.
  • Provide guidance on complex cases, crisis situations, and service planning.
Quality Assurance and Documentation
  • Monitor documentation quality, data integrity, and compliance with agency expectations, including timely completion of Individual Service Plans, daily case management notes, Youth Assessments and other relevant touchpoints as required by our ETO system.
  • Compile statistics, analyze trends, and support continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Stay informed about current and emerging trends in youth services, case management, and clinical practice, and work with the team to assess and adopt new practices that strengthen service quality and youth outcomes.
  • Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders as required.
Coordination and Partnership
  • Manage the flow of referrals into programs, including receiving referrals and assigning them to appropriate staff.
  • Collaborate closely with the Manager, Case Management Services on program planning, development, and evaluation.
  • Support the development and maintenance of partnerships with internal programs and external community agencies to enhance service coordination and youth outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) or College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
  • BSW or MSW, or a degree in a counselling related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience providing clinically informed services to youth who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness, including strong knowledge of youth homelessness and housing instability, 2
