Become a vital support player as a Case Worker at The Salvation Army’s Cuthbert House. Provide intensive management and counseling services to youth in a secure environment while ensuring their safety and well-being.
We're seeking a primary Case Worker with a background in Corrections or Childcare to assist clients aged 12-20 in our open custody facility. Key responsibilities include client supervision, case management, and addressing residents' therapeutic needs. You will be integral in fostering a safe environment and executing daily operations while reporting directly to the Senior Case Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise client behavior with active engagement
• Conduct daily reports on client activities
• Implement case management and counseling for residents
• Ensure client health and safety at all times
• Deliver group programming as necessary
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in the Corrections field
• Relevant post-secondary diploma or certification
• Strong knowledge of youth corrections system
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Valid Class G Driver License preferred
