Overnight Trauma-Informed Youth Worker

As a live-in treatment professional, you will work part-time, 45 hours bi-weekly, focusing on supporting female-identified youth ages 14-18. Your responsibilities include monitoring safety, facilitating activities, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Using an equity-based approach, you will help dismantle barriers to access essential support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor youth during the night and conduct welfare checks
• Facilitate therapeutic activities and relaxation exercises
• Manage medication tracking and document observations
• Ensure nighttime safety protocols are followed
• Collaborate with care staff for effective transitions
Requirements:
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in youth care
• Diploma in relevant field; degree preferred
• Understanding trauma-informed practices
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience in crisis intervention techniques
