Position: Full-Time Education Support Worker Role
Join Covenant House in a full-time, hybrid role as an Education Support Worker, where you will empower youth by addressing educational barriers and facilitating pathways to success.

As an integral part of the Employment Services Department, your focus is on providing individualized support for youth navigating challenges related to education. You will assess needs, plan educational strategies, and connect youth with essential resources. Collaborating with schools and community partners will be vital in helping students achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct educational assessments and identify barriers to success

• Deliver supportive counseling and goal-setting assistance

• Guide youth through secondary school and post-secondary options

• Facilitate referrals to educational supports and funding

• Maintain accurate case documentation and reports

Requirements:

• Relevant diploma or degree in youth work or social services

• Minimum two years of hands-on experience with youth

• Familiarity with educational pathways and aid programs

• Strong advocacy and communication skills

• Competency in Microsoft Office applications
