This role offers both full-time and part-time schedules in a compassionate, trauma-informed environment.
HealthOPM is seeking committed candidates for a live-in treatment program serving female-identified youth ages 12-17. As a Youth Support Worker, you will provide crisis management, safety checks, and emotional support.
Your role plays a key part in establishing a safe and nurturing atmosphere for residents facing significant challenges due to trauma.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide overnight supervision and emotional support for residents
• Respond promptly to safety alerts during overnight shifts
• Maintain documentation and household tasks consistently
• Promote empowerment and inclusion in daily interactions
• Facilitate a safe environment for trauma recovery
Requirements:
• Diploma in Child & Youth Care or Social Work
• Minimum 1 year of experience with youth in crisis
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices
• First Aid/CPR and crisis management training
• Broad record police check required
