This full-time and part time permanent position offers a competitive salary of $43,984.47 - $51,220.40 per year , along with comprehensive health and dental benefits and a defined contribution pension plan . HealthOPM is hiring on behalf of a leading youth mental health and social service agency in Toronto dedicated to empowering children, youth, and families through trauma-informed care, counselling, and community support.
Were seeking a compassionate and dependable Awake Overnight Youth Support Worker to join a 24/7 Live-In Treatment program serving female-identified youth (ages 12-17) who have experienced sexual exploitation or trafficking. In this essential overnight role, you will help maintain a safe, stable, and healing environment for residents while contributing to meaningful change in their lives.

North York, ON.
What You'll Do
Provide overnight supervision, safety checks, and emotional support in a trauma-informed environment.
Respond to safety alerts and manage crisis situations with professionalism and care.
Complete required documentation and household tasks to maintain a supportive home setting.
Promote inclusion, dignity, and empowerment in every interaction.

What You Bring
Diploma in the field (Child & Youth Care or or BSW/MSW (Bachelor or Masters of Social Work)
Minimum 1 year of experience supporting youth with complex needs (e.g., trauma, substance use, or mental health challenges)
Understanding of anti-oppressive and trauma-informed care principles
First Aid/CPR and crisis management training are strong assets
Broad record police check (BRC) required
Nice‑to-Have / Assets
Certification in Crisis Intervention
Experience supporting youth with a trauma‑informed lens
Previous experience in live‑in treatment, shelter, or residential programs
Experience working with youth impacted by sexual exploitation, trafficking, or gender‑based violence
Fluency in another language, including sign language , is an asset
