As part of the East Toronto HART Hub team, you'll work collaboratively to assist participants in accessing food, bathrooms, and healthcare. Engage in crisis intervention, conduct intakes, and manage day-to-day operations to ensure a safe, welcoming space for individuals facing complex challenges.
Your role is pivotal in promoting recovery and building life skills in a supportive community environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Open and close the center, ensuring safety and cleanliness
• Engage and supervise participants during program hours
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
• Implement and prepare program activities for participants
• Maintain statistical records and attendance logs
Requirements:
• College diploma in related field or equivalent experience
• Experience in mental health and addictions counseling
• Skilled in crisis management and de-escalation techniques
• Knowledge of low threshold service principles
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
