Position: Part-Time Family Support Visitor Role
Join Lumenus Community Services as a Family Home Visitor. Help families with young children navigate challenges through essential support and resources that promote healthy development.

This role is part-time and involves working closely with families facing various challenges, including social isolation and economic insecurity. You will conduct home visits, document findings, and collaborate with community partners to enhance service delivery.

Your role will directly impact families, guiding them toward better parenting practices and resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist families in goal-setting for parenting

• Conduct home visits to assess needs

• Provide information on child growth and development

• Develop parent education programs

• Document and maintain family visit records

Requirements:

• Early Childhood Education Diploma or equivalent experience

• 3-5 years in community-focused work

• English and Farsi/Dari fluency

• Effective communication and advocacy skills

• Must have access to reliable transportation within Toronto
