As a compassionate and dependable awake overnight support worker, you'll promote safety, provide emotional support, and ensure a therapeutic environment. Your contribution directly influences healing and stability for these young residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and support residents throughout overnight shifts
• Manage crisis situations efficiently with a caring approach
• Document incidents and fulfill household responsibilities
• Encourage empowerment and dignity in interactions
• Assist with safety checks to maintain a secure environment
Requirements:
• Diploma in Child & Youth Care or Social Work
• At least 1 year of relevant youth support experience
• Understanding of trauma-informed care principles
• First Aid/CPR training preferred
• Broad record police check necessary
