Part-Time Developmental Service Worker

Springboard’s transitional aged youth home offers a unique supportive living program aimed at helping individuals with developmental disabilities. As a Developmental Service Worker, you’ll collaborate with clients to identify and meet their personal goals. Key responsibilities include program development, community outings, and crisis management to ensure positive outcomes for individuals transitioning from child welfare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on personalized goals and support plans

• Deliver services aligned with individual needs

• Facilitate life skills programming in one-on-one or group settings

• Support individuals during community activities

• Conduct needs analyses to enhance independence

Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma/degree related to Social Services

• Two years experience in developmental services

• Valid First Aid and CPI Certifications

• Knowledge of the Developmental Services Sector

• Familiarity with trauma-informed approaches
