This position emphasizes Indigenous knowledge systems as you supervise and develop programs that enhance family and child relationships. At NCFST, your leadership will guide the integration of cultural safety principles into daily practices.
Your role will ensure that Indigenous families are supported and engaged in meaningful programming.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and oversee culturally rooted early learning programs
• Integrate Indigenous pedagogies into programming
• Build relationships with Indigenous families, Elders, and partners
• Ensure programs promote cultural safety and belonging
• Mentor staff and oversee program operations
Requirements:
• Degree in social services or equivalent
• 2 years’ supervisory experience in community programs
• Knowledge of Indigenous ways of knowing and being
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities
