Join CAMH as a full-time Social Worker 2 in the Youth Urgent Care Clinic, focusing on mental health stabilization and youth support. This role requires excellent engagement with youth aged 16-24 navigating acute crises.
As part of the Child, Youth, and Emerging Adult Program, you'll provide vital care to youth and their families dealing with mental health challenges. Your proven experience in clinical settings will be crucial as you perform assessments, case management, and deliver brief therapy. Collaboration with interprofessional teams ensures timely and effective care tailored to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide mental health support for youth in crisis
• Conduct assessments and stabilization interventions
• Facilitate case management and brief therapy sessions
• Supervise Master of Social Work students
• Collaborate on program development and quality improvement
Requirements:
• Master of Social Work (MSW) degree required
• Minimum three years clinical experience in mental health
• Registered member of OCSWSSW
• Knowledge of DSM-5 and crisis intervention principles
• Bilingualism in French/English is an asset
