Supportive Frontline Worker

Support tenants through trauma-informed care and crisis de-escalation at Wardlaw Residences during the evening shift, on-site in Rexdale. Build safety, trust, and connection.

Wardlaw Residences is preparing its new 51-unit supportive housing residence for staggered move-ins beginning December 2026. As a Frontline Worker, you will supervise and engage tenants while following policies, procedures, and house rules. The work serves seniors, youth, adults, and newcomers with diverse support needs.

• Supervise tenants and maintain a visible, welcoming facility presence
• Conduct and document hourly facility and safety checks
• Respond to concerns, conflicts, crises, and requests for assistance
• Complete reports, logs, telephone duties, and incident documentation
• Support move-ins, orientations, fire drills, and tenant activities

• Degree or diploma in Social Work, Child and Youth Care, or equivalent
• Minimum one year supporting seniors, newcomers, or youth experiencing housing instability
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and anti-oppressive practice
• CPR/First Aid, CPI/NVCI, and Vulnerable Sector Check required
• Microsoft Office and case management software proficiency
