Lead safe, inclusive community programming with Toronto Community Housing across West region locations, using planning and outreach skills onsite. Work Monday through Friday up to 25 hours weekly, with some weekends and evenings required.
As a Senior Program Leader, you will support gym and seniors’ programs serving Toronto Community Housing residents. You will plan, implement, promote, and evaluate community-based activities while coordinating with Program Coordinators, onsite staff, and community agencies. The contract runs until December 31, 2026, with possible extension.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify residents’ cultural, educational, recreational, and social activity needs
- Develop and implement social and recreational community activities
- Promote TCHC programs and activities on an ongoing basis
- Supervise onsite staff and provide ongoing direction
- Ensure safe program operations, reporting, inventory, and final documentation
- Community-based work knowledge, experience, or academic background
- Program planning, implementation, and evaluation experience
- Demonstrated community outreach experience
- Administrative, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Minimum age eighteen and valid Vulnerable Sector Check required
