Senior Software Engineer, AI Ecosystems; Auth
Overview
Senior Software Engineer, AI Ecosystems (Auth0) role focuses on delivering features that enable customers to leverage the Agentic AI ecosystem and engage their developer and partner base, in a world increasingly powered by artificial intelligence.
Responsibilities- Bring expertise in identity and security while building innovative features and standards that expose the Agentic AI ecosystem to our customers and their user base.
- Build and maintain scalable services using Type Script, NodeJS, and Postgre
SQL/Mongo
DB. - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and senior engineers to deliver features that support developers and partners in integrating with APIs and products.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code, and participate in code reviews and system design discussions.
- Contribute to observability and alerting systems to ensure reliability and performance of services.
- Continuously learn and grow by working with experienced engineers on complex distributed systems.
- Solid programming experience with JavaScript/Type Script and familiarity with NodeJS runtime environments.
- Practical experience with SQL and No
SQL databases (preferably Postgre
SQL and Mongo
DB). - The ability to write well-tested, high-quality code.
- Experience working in an iterative development environment and with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work well with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver high-value results.
- Autonomy with the ability to seek help as needed, strong problem-solving, communication, and ownership.
- Experience with architecture principles across infrastructure, security, data, integration, and application layers; experience building resilient, scalable products.
- Understanding of IAM concepts
- Experience with AI Agents and related problem spaces
- Experience creating and maintaining public and secure APIs
- Curiosity about AI and its intersection with identity and security
- Experience working with Identity and Access Management software concepts
- Knowledge of observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or Open Telemetry
The annual base salary range for candidates located in Canada is between $130,000–$194,000 CAD.
