We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer or Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who specializes in full stack QA (Front end, Webservice, & Non-Functional testing) to join our team, grow with us, introduce us to new ideas, and develop products that empower our users. Every day, you’ll work with team members across disciplines developing products for investors.
You’ll interact daily with our product managers to understand our domain and create technical solutions that push us forward. This position is based in our Toronto office.
Job Responsibilities
Build and maintain test automation framework and existing suite of automated tests used by the Agile squad.
Develop and maintain functional, system, and integration test cases and artifacts such as test data, test cases, and automated scripts used in SDLC.
Review functional requirements and determine data requirements for end‑to‑end use cases, from creating manual cases to automating them for regression.
Execute manual or automated test cases that validate functionalities, code quality, and report test results following all formal test architectures and project processes.
Own and manage tasks proactively from start to finish.
Research emerging test tools, trends, and methodologies to enhance existing systems and processes.
Act as test lead in various work streams, collaborating with Product Managers and Developers across teams.
Mentor other engineers on test methodologies, automation, coding standards, and best practices through code reviews and test plan design.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent plus a minimum of five years of related work experience.
Strong experience with object‑oriented programming and concepts.
Excellent understanding and knowledge of software quality assurance practices.
Hands‑on experience in Java, C#, JUnit/TestNG, Jenkins, Selenium, Fit Nesse, SoapUI, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and one or two scripting languages such as Groovy, Python, or Ruby.
Experience with TDD, continuous integration, and code review practices is strongly desired.
Good engagement and collaboration skills; a strong team player.

Compensation
Base Salary Compensation Range: $75,600.00 – $
Incentive Target Percentage: 12.5% Annual
