Responsibilities Be responsible for extending and improving the Rivian and Volkswagen Group embedded infotainment platform (i.e., displays, cameras, graphics, power management, audio, media, app lifecycle, etc).

Contribute to the software design and code reviews while collaborating with other developers on technical issues, design choices and decision making. Deploying and troubleshooting your solutions on a target vehicle or a hardware test bench. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent practical experience. Demonstrated ability to deliver software solutions on time and with high level of quality.

Working skills with C, C++, and Java.

Experience with POSIX-based embedded systems;
Preferred Linux and Android. Familiarity with one or more technical areas such as displays, cameras, graphics, power management, audio, and Bluetooth.

Preferred Qualifications:

Comfortable working in an environment with sophisticated build systems and large code repositories. Experience building solutions with Android Automotive OS Understanding of AOSP or FreeRTOS architectures. Preferred experience with low-level interfaces typical of embedded systems: such as I2C, SPI, GPIO, UART, USB, PCIe, SDIO, UFS, MDIO. Pay Disclosure
* Salary range for Toronto applicants: $86,200 - $114,280 CAD. — The posted salary represents the lowest and highest ranges RV Tech reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position. Any posted salary range pertains only to the estimated starting pay for the role. Actual starting pay is based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, skillset, qualifications, specific competencies, relevant education, and location.
