Senior Software Engineer; Python, Web API

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong Python and Web API experience to join a high-impact B2C platform team. This role is ideal for someone who has built scalable, customer-facing products and can clearly articulate the features they’ve developed and the impact they’ve had.

• Strong hands-on experience in Python development and feature delivery
• Proven experience building and enhancing B2C platforms
• Candidates must clearly describe the features they have built, including functional details and business impact

  advanced search, product catalogs, seamless checkout flows to drive engagement and conversion
• Payment Gateways: secure and reliable payment processing integrations
• Customer Management: account management, reviews, ratings, and customer-facing tools
• Scalability: systems designed to handle growth in users and transactions without performance degradation
• Mobile Accessibility: responsive and mobile-friendly platforms across devices

Metrics are essential. Profiles should include measurable impact such as:

• Number of users/customers onboarded per week or month
• Volume of transactions or transfers processed
• Performance, scalability, or conversion improvements achieved

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a Canadian University (mandatory)

• Design and deliver high-quality, secure features and enhancements
• Collaborate on technical design and architecture decisions
• Provide accurate estimates and actively participate in sprint planning
• Optimize performance to meet SLA requirements in distributed systems
• Ensure high security assurance across all solutions
• Mentor and support other engineers, promoting best practices and fast, high-quality delivery

• Infrastructure-focused roles, data pipelines, ETL, or scripting-only backgrounds are not a fit for this position
