We are seeking a motivated Junior Software Developer to join a specialized sustainment and project team. In this role, you will be responsible for translating technical specifications into high-quality, tested applications. You will work across the full stack, with a focus on C# .NET, Angular, and Oracle databases. This position is ideal for a developer who is eager to learn, excels at troubleshooting, and is comfortable working in a structured environment supporting mission‑critical infrastructure upgrades and enhancements.
Pay Rate: $330.8- $370.21/Diem

- Application Development:
Write and maintain code for web‑based applications using C# .NET Framework 4.8+ and modern frontend libraries. - System Maintenance:
Translate technical system specifications into working code, conduct unit tests, and maintain existing software packages. - Database Integration:
Develop applications that store and retrieve data using Oracle 19c and PL/SQL. - Troubleshooting:
Resolve technical problems and performance issues in web applications and Windows services, including diagnosing issues in environments where server access is restricted. - Dev Ops Support:
Use GIT for version control and collaborate with release teams to support Azure Dev Ops YAML pipelines for automated packaging and deployment. - Accessibility Compliance:
Ensure all web application development adheres to the (AODA) and WCAG AA standards. - Sustainment
Activities:
Support urgent infrastructure upgrades, changing business needs, and cluster‑wide platform sustainment.
- Experience troubleshooting performance issues in web applications and Windows services.
- Proven ability to develop for multiple web browsers and versions.
- Ability to analyze requirements to determine functional needs for reports and system enhancements.
- Understanding of AODA and WCAG AA compliance in a development context.
Skills:
- Proficiency in C# .NET Framework 4.8 or later.
- Hands‑on experience with Oracle 19c and PL/SQL.
- Experience with Angular (v17), including Type Script, RxJS, and NgRx.
- Proficiency with client‑side libraries:
Bootstrap, jQuery, Lodash, and Material. - Experience using Visual Studio 2017/2022 and Azure Dev Ops/GIT.
- Knowledge of XML and basic administration of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with QA, Product Managers, and stakeholders.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to asking for help.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum team environments.
- Previous experience in a large‑scale organization of equivalent size is an asset.
