Int. React Native Developer to work on mobile apps for Android based POS terminals
Type: Permanent
Location: Hybrid, (3x/week in Etobicoke)
Responsibilities:
Design, develop and support user-focused mobile-based applications and programs for AndroidOwn the full stack and lifecycle of key software applications from ideation to executionCreate and deliver complex software solutions that have broad organizational and / or client impactMentor other software developers to support their performance and pass on knowledgeMust Haves:
Bachelor's degree required (Master’s degree strongly preferred) in Software Engineering, Computer Science or at least 5 years of experience working in software development, design, and / or business intelligence environments including3 years in Android mobile apps (iOS an asset)Hands-on experience building a mobile app using React Native, Javascript, TypeScript, Redux, Router, HTML5, CSS3 on Android (iOS an asset)Proficiency in React Native,Solid ability to code/debug in Java and Kotlin (Swift an asset)Experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Practical experiencing working within an agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban)Fluency in Jira/Confluence – must exhibit an advanced user levelDeep understanding of the modern SW dev/maintenance technologies, including CI/CD pipelines, unit tests, branching strategies, app monitoring tools
