The Opportunity:
We’re looking to fill a role for a Frontend Software Engineer to join our Information Technology team for 12 months.
Reporting to the Software Engineering Manager, Frontend Software Engineer plays a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable client-side of software applications that support Aviso Wealth’s digital platforms. Responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code while adhering to engineering standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine requirements, and ensuring smooth deployments through coordination with Quality Engineering and Dev Sec Ops .
The position supports continuous improvement efforts and fosters technical excellence across the team. Success in this role directly impacts the quality, reliability, and user experience of Aviso’s technology solutions.
Note:
This role is oriented towards frontend stack engineers, with primary experience in Flutter, and Angular. Experience in Adobe Experience Manager, and the AEM Java SDK, would be an added bonus.

Build and maintain user-facing features using modern frontend frameworks, ensuring accuracy to design and product requirementsTranslate UX/UI designs into responsive, accessible, and high‑quality frontend codeIntegrate frontend components with backend APIs and services, handling data flows and error states effectivelyWrite clean, testable, and maintainable code, including unit and integration testsDiagnose and fix frontend bugs, performance issues, and cross‑browser compatibility problemsCollaborate daily with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA to deliver features on timeParticipate in code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to team standardsRequirements
Your experience and skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field2+ years of professional experience in software development2+ years’ strong experience with frontend framework including Flutter and Angular2+ years of Integration experience with backend using API’s in Java-based frameworksExperience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) would be an assetExperience with object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python, and a foundational understanding of software engineering principles would be an assetExpertise in system architecture, microservices, and cloud-native designExtensive Experience using Azure cloud, APIM, Dapr, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (Iac/Bicep) would be an assetWorking knowledge of design patterns and software engineering principlesExperience in Git, Git Hub/Git Lab workflows, and code quality…
