We’re looking for a Senior Game Developer to build the next unannounced Angry Birds hit. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with other disciplines in the studio, and contribute to both the games we craft and the way we work together. You’ll bring your unique perspective and skills with your strong technical background and gameplay‑oriented mindset.
This is an open vacancy with a salary range of 116,000 – 142,000 CAD per year. At this stage, we are primarily focusing our search on candidates based in the local area. The role is hybrid, requiring onsite presence at our Toronto studio on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

What you will do- Prototyping new ideas quickly and refining them into polished, high‑quality code.
- Maintaining a simple and effective code architecture.
- Designing and maintaining simple, effective game and meta‑game systems that follow our shared coding standards.
- Providing mentorship and support for less experienced developers.
- Collaborating closely with the whole team to implement game features that players will love.
- Optimising the game as you go to ensure a smooth, high‑performance experience on mobile. We prefer to build in performance by default!
- Building multiplatform UI and features that look and feel great across different devices.
- At least 5 years of commercial game programming experience.
- At least 3 years building games within the Unity engine.
- Experience with writing Unity Editor Tools to facilitate work for the Game Design team.
- Strong programming skills with C#.
- Experience porting games to Nintendo Switch.
- Experience working with platform specific SDKs.
- Experience with debugging, profiling, and performance optimisations.
- Good understanding of mobile platforms and hardware.
- Experience working with Apple’s Game Kit and other Apple APIs.
- Experience working with server developers and integrating backend services into mobile games.
- Understanding of C# outside of its subset in Unity.
- Familiarity with cloud computing, especially AWS.
- Experience with dependency injection frameworks.
- Experience with Python, Bash, Power Shell for task automation.
- Experience working with REST APIs.
