JOB DESCRIPTION:
"Role Summary
We are seeking a handson Automation QE Lead to drive endtoend quality engineering outcomes through strong automation ownership across UI and API testing The ideal candidate will lead automation strategy guide framework development mentor team members and ensure continuous quality through CICD integration This role partners closely with Engineering Dev Ops and Product teams to improve test coverage stability and release confidence
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design development and maintenance of automation frameworks for UI and API testing
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to automation QEsSDETs coding standards reviews best practices
Develop and maintain automated test suites using Java, Selenium UI automation Rest Assured API automation, JUnit TestNG test execution and orchestration
Define automation approach for regression smoke and integration suites ensure alignment with overall test strategy
Integrate automation into CICD pipelines and drive continuous testing practices
Manage test code and assets using Git Git Hub including , reviews and branching discipline
Track quality metrics automation coverage pass rate flaky tests and drive improvements
Collaborate with stakeholders to plan testing triage defects and provide release readiness input
Identify risks early propose mitigation and ensure timely execution under tight delivery timelines
Required Skills Experience
Strong knowledge of Automation Development Frameworks design implementation maintenance
Strong handson automation development experience using Java
Solid experience with JUnit and TestNG
Strong experience with Selenium for UI automation
Strong experience with Rest Assured for API automation
Strong understanding of API Testing concepts requestresponse validation auth negative testing contracts where applicable
Handson experience with Git Git Hub version control , workflows
Experience integrating test automation into CICD pipelines
Demonstrated ability to lead automation delivery planning prioritization coaching stakeholder updates
Nice to Have
Experience with Git Hub Copilot
Experience with Allure Reports
Handson experience with Postman
Exposure to JMeter performanceload testing"
