Front End Architect

Position: Front End Architect (1833) $90-95/hr
Overview

NOTE:

Hybrid Work Model, office located in Toronto. Work 2 days/week in office.

Status: 6-Month Contract, 7.5-hour workday, 37.5 hours/week

DESCRIPTION:

As a Front End Architect, you will be responsible for creating scalable front-end architecture, ensuring high performance, and leading technical development on projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and set best practices for the team.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of front-end architecture

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers

Set and enforce coding standards and best practices

Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues

Mentor and guide front-end developers on technical best practices

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field

8+ years of experience in front-end development

Proven experience as a Front End Architect or similar role

Strong understanding of front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js

Experience with RESTful services and APIs

Excellent problem-solving skills

Excellent English presentation and communication skills
