Ruby on Rails Developer

Location: Toronto, Canada (Hybrid – 2–3 days per week in the office)

We are seeking a talented Ruby on Rails Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable web applications. You will work on server-side logic, create RESTful APIs, integrate front-end components, and ensure the performance and responsiveness of our applications. • Develop and maintain server-side logic for web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to support front-end components.
• Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure application security, performance, and reliability.

• Strong proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails framework.
• Solid understanding of MVC architecture and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Postgre
  
  SQL or MySQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and automated testing practices.
• Understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Ability to write secure, maintainable, and scalable code.

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Experience with performance optimization and caching strategies.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.
