Our client is seeking a hands‑on AI Solutions Engineer to join a growing technology team in Toronto. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape AI adoption within a well‑established organization that is early in its AI transformation journey.

In this role, you will design, build, prototype, and deploy practical AI‑powered solutions that improve internal operations, business workflows, and enterprise platforms. You will work with LLMs, prompting, RAG, agents, APIs, and integrations while collaborating with product, technology, and business teams.

The ideal candidate is curious, adaptable, entrepreneurial, and passionate about building real‑world AI solutions. You should be comfortable working across the full application lifecycle, from solution design through development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

• Build AI-powered applications, prototypes, proof‑of‑concepts, and production‑ready solutions
• Develop LLM‑enabled tools using prompting, RAG, agents, and API integrations
• Integrate AI into existing enterprise systems and operational workflows
• Support modernization initiatives using technologies such as Next.js, Type Script, Postgre
  
  SQL, Azure, and Microsoft tools
• Mentor junior AI developers and support technical best practices
• Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into practical AI solutions
• Support AI governance, security, monitoring, and responsible AI adoption

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, solution engineering, or systems design
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience building or deploying LLM‑powered solutions
• Strong experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, APIs, and AI application development
• Experience with relational databases;
  Postgre
  
  SQL is preferred
• Strong Next.js and Type Script experience
• Azure deployment experience is an asset
• Strong debugging, problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• PHP or legacy modernization experience
• Microsoft technology environment experience
• Experience embedding AI into enterprise platforms
• Experience mentoring junior developers
• Exposure to SSO, AI governance, compliance, construction, real estate, finance, or enterprise operations
