Senior Engineer in TypeScript

Position: MapsPeople Senior Engineer in Type Script
Join Maps People to redefine indoor navigation as a Senior Type Script Engineer. Work on a modern Type Script-first platform in a dynamic role that spans full-stack development, either remotely or in Toronto or Aalborg.

As a critical member of our engineering team, you will design and implement robust applications using Type Script, ensuring quality and performance throughout. Collaborate closely with design and platform teams while leveraging your backend expertise in Golang to build scalable solutions for our enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain applications with Type Script and Node.js

• Build backend services using Golang and scalable APIs

• Advocate for best practices within a monorepo environment

• Engage in mentorship and technical discussions

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and tooling enhancements

Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience in Type Script/Java Script

• Strong backend skills in both Node.js and Golang

• Proficient in React or Angular frameworks

• Knowledge of cloud platforms and automated deployment

• Comfortable with Git and modern development workflows
