We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role of Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team for our client, a leading Bank in Canada.
Location Address: 3 days/week onsite - Toronto
Possibility of extension: Contract to Perm role after 6 months
Typical Day in Role
Proven ability to collaborate with senior Business and Technology leaders to define and drive long-term Business–Technology roadmaps for individual Salesforce orgs.
Strong experience designing and implementing an enterprise Salesforce org strategy across multiple orgs at a bank‑wide level.
Demonstrated success delivering multiple enterprise‑scale Salesforce platform implementations.
Experience establishing and enforcing Salesforce governance frameworks, including standards, controls, and best practices.
Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams such as product owners, business analysts, developers, and QA teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful delivery.
Must have requirements
Minimum 8+ years of experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC), including concepts such as Households, Person Accounts, and rollups.
Minimum 4+ years of experience with source control and release management using Bitbucket or Git Hub, SFDX, and branching strategies across multiple delivery pods for a shared Salesforce instance.
Deep hands‑on expertise with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce integration patterns.
Hands‑on experience integrating Salesforce with other cloud‑based systems using REST, SOAP, and Bulk APIs.
Strong background in enforcing coding standards, conducting code reviews, and promoting best practices to ensure high‑quality, maintainable solutions.
Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams such as product owners, business analysts, developers, and QA teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful delivery.
Nice to have skills
Hands‑on experience with tools such as Data Loader and Data Stage, along with a working understanding of middleware platforms including Talend, Jitterbit, Informatica, and Mule Soft.
Mandatory experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
Comprehensive understanding of Salesforce Flows, including different flow types and their appropriate use cases.
Ability to support and develop Dev Ops automations to accelerate deployments and improve delivery efficiency.
Strong experience managing Salesforce sandbox environments, including rollback strategies for failed deployments.
Experience managing deployment pipelines across multiple delivery pods, including resolving deployment issues raised by development teams.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Enthusiastic team player who has an exceptionally keen eye for detail.
Data‑minded but with an eye for aesthetics.
Comfortable prioritizing tasks and managing multiple strands of work with a willingness to take on additional projects as needed.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field is required.
Must hold three or more Salesforce certifications from the list below prior to joining (certifications will be verified):
Salesforce Certified Developer I
Salesforce Certified Developer II
Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
