Contribute your expertise as a Senior Python Developer within the Total Fund Management Portfolio Management Technology team. This role emphasizes autonomous solution delivery and backend service development, particularly in cloud environments like AWS.
We are seeking an experienced individual who thrives in self-directed roles, effectively managing execution risks and timelines. You will independently design software solutions, engage stakeholders, and challenge assumptions for optimal outcomes. Candidates should be comfortable with ambiguity and possess strong Python and cloud capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own timelines and deliverables; manage scope and execution risks
• Independently design and deliver software solutions
• Build backend services and RESTful APIs
• Develop cloud-native applications, preferably on AWS
• Implement workflow automation and data pipelines
Requirements:
• Proven consulting or client-facing delivery experience
• Ability to operate in ambiguous environments
• Strong Python experience in enterprise settings
• Knowledge of Java (minimum 2 years)
• Experience with SQL, Docker, Kubernetes
