• Can Deal Data & Analytics (DNA) follows a Fin Tech model of fast paced agile development. This role works collaboratively with our team to bring DNA’s signature agility and responsiveness to our customers.
• Taking direction from the Lead Developer, code changes to our Can Issue applications across the full application stack using Python, VUE, and MySQL.
• Keep up to date with technology changes and best practices in the Python language and Can Deal DNA’s Amazon Web Services hosted ecosystem.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Two to five years of work experience as a programmer, with increasing responsibility.
• Strong programming skill in Python (preferred), C++ and/or Java.
• Familiarity with REACT or VUE frameworks and component libraries helpful.
• Ability to model tables and write queries in any dialect of SQL helpful (Amazon RDS Aurora / MySQL experience preferred).
• Experience deploying Dockerized applications using ArgoCD to EKS / Kubernetes a bonus.
• Experience deploying and tuning AWS infrastructure, and coding with AWS’ open source APIs.
• Expertise in capital markets applications, risk or trading systems preferred. Domain expertise in fixed income, derivatives, futures products a bonus.
• Ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders and other developers.
