Raise is seeking an experienced Software Engineer for a 12-month contract, helping to expand the team's capabilities to meet market demand. You will collaborate closely with business partners, speculating requirements and developing new and existing applications that drive business value. This role involves testing, supporting applications, and being part of the Portfolio Engineering development squad.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with business partners to define applications requirements
• Develop and support new and existing Python and .NET applications
• Build production-grade ETL pipelines and backend APIs
• Test and ensure the stability of developed applications
• Maintain effective communication with investment teams for application support
Requirements:
• 5+ years of development experience in web development
• Proficiency in Python and FastAPI
• Experience with MS SQL Server or Oracle databases
• Background in asset management or trading environments
• Strong SQL skills for optimization and performance
