PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES   Can Deal Data & Analytics (DNA) follows a Fin Tech model of fast paced agile development. This role works collaboratively with our team to bring DNA’s signature agility and responsiveness to our customers.
Taking direction from the Lead Developer, code changes to our Can Issue applications across the full application stack using Python, VUE, and MySQL.
Keep up to date with technology changes and best practices in the Python language and Can Deal DNA’s Amazon Web Services hosted ecosystem.
Education & Experience   Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering.
Two to five years of work experience as a programmer, with increasing responsibility.
Strong programming skill in Python (preferred), C++ and/or Java.
Familiarity with REACT or VUE frameworks and component libraries helpful.
Ability to model tables and write queries in any dialect of SQL helpful (Amazon RDS Aurora / MySQL experience preferred).
Experience deploying Dockerized applications using ArgoCD to EKS / Kubernetes a bonus.
Experience deploying and tuning AWS infrastructure, and coding with AWS’ open source APIs.
Expertise in capital markets applications, risk or trading systems preferred. Domain expertise in fixed income, derivatives, futures products a bonus.
Ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders and other developers.
