Join Localcoin's engineering team as a Java Developer and fuel the growth of digital currency solutions from our office in Etobicoke, ON. This hybrid position focuses on application stability and integration security.
As a Java Developer, you'll have the chance to work on maintaining high-performance applications critical to our Bitcoin ATM network. You’ll utilize your 5+ years of experience and familiarity with Java 8 and Spring to deliver top-notch backend solutions while mentoring upcoming developers in our inclusive workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain Java applications
• Ensure applications adhere to security and compliance standards
• Collaborate effectively with technical teams for integration
• Enhance user experience through system optimizations
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior staff
Requirements:
• 5+ years in back-end Java development with Spring
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database design
• Familiarity with Git flow and Docker tools
• Experience in functional testing and code analysis tools
• Knowledge of CI/CD platforms is advantageous
