Software Development Manager, DevOps

The Opportunity

We're looking for an Software Development Manager to lead our Dev Ops team as we scale infrastructure across multiple regions and push toward continuous deployment. You'll own the platform engineering function — developer experience, infrastructure reliability, and the systems that let Maintain

X move fast without breaking things.

• Lead a team of platform and Dev Ops software developers: set direction, remove blockers, and develop talent.
• Own the Dev Ops roadmap, balancing developer experience improvements, platform efficiency, and infrastructure reliability.
• Partner with product engineering teams to build the tooling and self‑service capabilities that let them own their deployments.
• Partner with the security team to ensure compliance across our environments, and to offer a safe and secure platform upon which the development teams can thrive.
• Drive infrastructure strategy across cloud, container orchestration, CI/CD, and observability.
• Hire, onboard, and grow a high‑performing team.
• Provide clear visibility into team progress, risks, and outcomes to engineering leadership.

• 4+ years of Software Development management experience with a background in Dev Ops, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
• You’ve shipped production infrastructure, understand cloud‑native systems, and can engage on hard technical problems with your team.
• Track record of measurably improving developer experience and platform reliability at scale.
• Strong communicator who can translate infrastructure complexity for product and business stakeholders.
• Proven ability to hire and build high‑performing technical teams.
• Comfortable leading teams that use AI‑assisted development tools as a core part of their workflow.

• Hands‑on experience with multi‑region environments, infrastructure as code, and modern CI/CD platforms.
• Familiarity with compliance‑driven infrastructure (SOC 2, FedRAMP, ISO
  270001 or similar).
• Experience scaling a Dev Ops function in a fast‑growth SaaS environment.
