Become a vital part of an innovative team as a Java Developer in Toronto or Vancouver. Focus on developing APIs with Java, Spring Boot, and Databricks in this extensive contract role.
For 12+ months, you’ll apply your knowledge of Microservices and RESTful APIs to create systems that serve analytics needs. Strong debugging and performance tuning skills are essential, along with experience using Git and CI/CD tools. A combination of SQL database concepts and a little exposure to data engineering will set you apart.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design RESTful APIs that enhance data analytics
• Contribute to Microservices architecture development
• Conduct performance tuning and debugging tasks
• Engage in code reviews and team collaborations
• Build efficient query patterns for analytics
Requirements:
• Solid experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
• Skilled in API development for analytics consumers
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD
• Strong understanding of SQL databases
• Basic exposure to PySpark or Spark SQL
