Lead Developer - Platform Resilience at Verafin

Be a key player at Verafin as the Lead Developer for the Platform Modernization & Resilience Team. Utilize your backend and AWS skills to modernize critical application infrastructure.

This role invites you to mentor fellow developers while designing and scaling robust systems. You will employ your Java expertise and Terraform knowledge to create resilient microservices and ensure that our services remain reliable and scalable. Collaboration with architects and cross-functional teams will be key to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor developers on effective design and testing practices

• Design microservices deployed via AWS using Terraform

• Contribute Java solutions to fix issues and enhance functionality

• Partner with architects for cloud infrastructure evolution

• Maintain focus on service scalability and disaster recovery standards

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• 4+ years in software development

• Proven leadership in technical environments

• Proficiency in AWS and Terraform tools

• Strong grounding in resilience and reliability principles
