In this pivotal role, you will report to the Software Development Manager and contribute to developing top-notch, maintainable code. You will lead with Agile principles, conduct thorough code reviews, and document your work meticulously. Collaborate with product teams to refine requirements and ensure code quality and performance metrics are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create stable and reusable code for products and solutions
• Develop and run unit tests for new features
• Participation in Agile retrospectives for continual improvement
• Write detailed specifications for code changes and design
• Guide junior software engineers in best practices
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 5 years of software development expertise
• Strong Java programming skills with Spring Boot
• Familiarity with databases like MySQL and DynamoDB
• Knowledge of big data technologies such as Kafka
