Position: Sr. Java Developer with AWS (ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, Glue) experience to RESTful services for our capital markets client

Duration: 12 Months
Location: Toronto (Hybrid, 2x/week)
Must Haves:
10+ years of experience in coding, application development using Java, Kafka, Springboot, Spring framework, REST Services , Multi-threading5+ years of experience with AWS including ECS / EKS , S3 , RDS, Lambda, Glue7+ years of experience in Relational Database development in SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 or equivalent7+ years of experience in integrating with high-speed messaging systems like Kafka.Hands on experience designing and developing the microservices application using Java, Spring boot, RESTful, and Kafka.3+ years of experience with PythonNice to Have:
Capital Markets and/or Investment Banking experience is a strong plus.Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree.Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services), IAM, EC2, Cloud Formation, SNS / SQS, and Cloud watchesExperience with Shell Scripts & Apache CamelExperience with Bedrock/ agentic AI is a strong plus
