Your new role

As a Senior Software Engineer (Backend), you’ll design and build scalable backend systems that power a rapidly growing platform. This is a high-ownership role where you’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver impactful features end-to-end. You’ll:

Build performant backend services using Node.js / NestJS

Develop reliable, scalable systems leveraging Mongo

DB, Postgres, and Redis

Own the full SDLC—from design to production and ongoing support

Contribute to shared libraries, tooling, and engineering best practices

Collaborate cross-functionally to solve real customer problems

Participate in on-call rotations (approx. 1 week/month) to support platform reliability

Work in a remote-first, async environment with global collaboration

What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience building scalable backend systems in production environments

Strong hands-on development with TypeScript, Node.js (NestJS preferred)
and exposure to React

Experience working with distributed systems, APIs, and databases (Mongo

DB, Postgres, Redis)

Solid understanding of testing strategies (integration, E2E, unit)

Experience deploying and operating applications in AWS (ECS, Terraform)

Strong writtenmunication skillsfortable working in a fully remote, async team
