Backend Data Platform Engineer SQL, ETL, Gen AI, Backstage Dev

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with strong Platform Engineering expertise to design and enhance scalable backend systems, data pipelines, and developer platforms.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in backend services, data systems, and modern platform tools, along with exposure to GenAI-driven applications and enterprise data ecosystems.

Strong backend development experience with a focus on data-centric applications.

Hands-on experience with:

• Enterprise ETL frameworks and data migration
• GenAI platforms, including RAG and prompt engineering concepts
• Backstage developer platform, software templates, and golden paths
• System design, scalability, and performance optimization

• Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs supporting enterprise platforms

  SQL databases for storage, processing, and optimization
• Build and manage data pipelines and ETL frameworks for large-scale data processing and migration
• Integrate GenAI-based solutions (RAG, prompt engineering) into backend systems where applicable
• Develop and maintain platform tooling using Backstage, including reusable templates and golden paths
• Ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability across backend systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define backend architecture and solutions
• Support debugging, performance tuning, and production issue resolution
