Senior Developer C++ and Python Solutions

In this role within the Data Xchange Squad at TMX, you will implement high-performance C++ applications, leverage your expertise in Python to automate processes, and mentor junior engineers. You’ll also contribute to significant architectural decisions and resolve complex production challenges. Your experience in containerization and CI/CD practices will be essential to the success of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead high-performance application development in C++

• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews

• Utilize Python and Bash for seamless automation

• Debug critical production issues swiftly

• Offer Tier-3 support for escalated technical challenges

Requirements:

• 5-6 years C++ development experience (C++17/20 is a plus)

• 3-4 years in automation with Python, SQL, and Perl

• Proven experience in containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes)

• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and related tools

• University degree in Computer Science or similar
