Position: Compiler Optimization Engineer for AI

In this role, you will be a vital member of Cerebras Systems’ engineering team. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in a related field, demonstrating proficiency in C/C++ and Python. Your work will focus on optimizing compiler technologies using LLVM and MLIR, as well as collaborating closely with machine learning experts to tackle performance challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize compiler technologies specifically for AI chips

• Address and solve performance bottlenecks effectively

• Work alongside machine learning teams for better integrations

• Research and implement new optimization strategies

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent

• Strong command of C/C++ and Python programming

• Experience with NP-hard optimization techniques

• Familiarity with MLIR or related frameworks is advantageous

• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities
