This role is integral to the Trust & Safety team. As an Android Engineer, you will be responsible for developing features to enhance the safety of both riders and drivers. Key skills include expertise in Kotlin, architectural paradigms, and a strong product sense for real-world usability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain Android features for user safety

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams

• Evaluate designs and identify potential issues

• Contribute to planning and creative approaches

• Share knowledge through reviews and tech talks

Requirements:

• Experience with large-scale Android applications

• Proficiency in Kotlin;
Java knowledge is a plus

• Familiar with unidirectional, reactive programming

• Understanding of Jetpack Compose and testing frameworks

• Interest in growing into a leadership role
