Job Description

Python Developer - Gen AI, LLM – Toronto, ON – Hybrid (4 Days WFO)

Role Description s

5+ years building production applications (Python and Node.js/ Type Script)
2+ years with cloud platforms (AWS| Azure| or Open Shift)
Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git
2 + years building or integrating AI agents (Lang Chain| Llama Index| Claude SDK)
Design, deploy, configure, and maintain our Backstage.io developer portal.
Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering
Comfortable working daily with AI-assisted development tools
Comfortable working with Mongo

DB and Redis in production environments
MCP (Model Context Protocol) server development REST API design and OpenAPI specifications

Nice-to-Have

Experience with Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS| GCP| or Azure)
Background with Graph

QL, message queues, or event-driven architectures
Track record of learning and working effectively with emerging technologies
Experience mentoring or leading junior developers

Requirements
