Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation Expert

Elevate quality assurance in Reinsurance with an automation-focused role in Toronto. This hybrid contract position seeks experienced professionals to build frameworks that enhance engineering productivity and reliability.

We are looking for two Quality Engineering professionals to refine our automation efforts within the Reinsurance portfolio. Ideal candidates will develop end-to-end automated testing covering API, UI, and data validation. This role requires designing scalable frameworks along with implementing CI/CD enhancements for effective quality gates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build modular automation frameworks for API, UI, and data validation

• Implement reliable test orchestration and reporting mechanisms

• Configure Jira/Zephyr for streamlined test management

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business outcomes

Requirements:

• 7+ years in Quality Engineering/Test Automation

• Strong programming skills in Java, C#, Python, or similar

• Proven REST API and web UI automation experience

• Hands-on with Jira and CI/CD integrations

• Excellent communication skills with technical and business teams
