Isthis role right for you? In this role, you will:
As a Trade Floor Technology Analyst (Web Developer), you will work on the company’s trade floor, providing full stack web development of applications and enhancement of web‑based systems. As part of the Global Banking & Markets, Trade Floor Support & Automation team, you will:
- Analyze business processes, liaise with various groups within the bank, reach out to external contacts to obtain information, perform thorough software testing, develop web‑based systems, and design user interfaces to meet business needs.
- Use state of the art web development technologies, including working with large datasets, bulk editing, advanced reporting, workflow notifications, APIs, encryption, and intelligent prediction using analytics/machine learning.
- Implement leading‑edge trading technologies used on the trade floor such as Bloomberg to constantly improve trade floor capabilities.

- Work on a variety of projects including new technology initiatives, data analysis, and analytics.
- Take on programming tasks such as development of in‑house web‑based tools for optimization of trade floor processes.
- Get exposure to financial products, as well as trading technologies and applications such as Bloomberg.

- Work in the heart of the Financial and Entertainment Districts in downtown Toronto.
- You are currently enrolled in post‑secondary education.
- You are proficient with full‑stack web development.
- Experience with front‑end languages and frameworks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, Bootstrap, React, Vue.js).
- Experience with back‑end languages (e.g. C#, Python).
- Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server).
- You love to learn and envision yourself working for an international organization that heavily invests in your future.
- You enjoy being involved in extracurricular activities such as conferences, clubs, and competitions/hackathons.
- You are self‑motivated and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work quickly in a dynamic, challenging and fast‑paced environment.
